26/08/2010 : Cox is now available in the land of the rising sun !

Since the liberation of the alcohol importation at the beginning of the seventies, the japanese wine market has grown regularly in order to reach the level of 2 liters par inhabitant and per year; still far away from France whose comsuption is about 54 L. The french paradox, the success of the "Beaujolais Nouveau" or more recently a manga on wine named "The drops of god" helped to developp the wine culture in Japan.
COX is taking advantage of this opportunity to attack the japanese market. Our wines will be available soon in Tokyo. If you feel like experimenting kanjis and ideograms, we recommand you to visit the website of our importer :

Nouvelles Sélections inc., 2-4-1-102 Minami - Ikebukuro, Toshima-Ku Tokyo 171-0022

25/05/2010 : A Chardonnay wine has just entered the COX range !!

We are really pleased to announce you the release of a new white white that has just entered the COX range. It is a fruity and crispy Chardonnay wine made in the pyrenees piemont's vineyards. Not so original you would say as it is one of the most planted variety in the world...The COX version of this emblematic variety from Burgundy is still really modern in its style (fresh and less buttery) and its winemaking. 70% of the wine has been cold fermented in order to bring some fruity flavors to the blend, 30% has been added of slightly toasted oak chips to bring some soft oak aromas and roundness to the wine. You will enjoy fully our new wine with fish and shellfish. It will also suit very well with white meat.
